George Hildebrand - Cincinnati, OH

George is a local Lindy Hop Swing/Blues Dancer, Private/Small Group Instructor, and DJ. A drummer from "back in the day," he began his Lindy Hop journey in the year 2000 with the Lindy Hop Swing Society of Greater St. Louis. There he learned the fundamentals of skilled swing dancing under a method that emphasizes the physics behind proper Lead/Follow technique. Using this same method, his teaching style is slow and methodical with a goal of teaching folks how to "dance" rather than how to "pretend to dance." George has also written extensively on the history of Swing Dance since the days of the slave trade, and was a fixture of the Kansas City Lindy Hop scene for over 10 years.
Ryan Quatman - Cincinnati, OH

Ryan has been dancing and doing Lindy Hop, Charleston, East Coast and Aerials since 2007. When he first walked into Swingallery on Thursday nights, he knew he was going to be hooked on swing dancing! He has since competed both on a team, singles and as a couple in the regional area for the last 6 years has been teaching in the Cincinnati scene. He has taught at Japps 1879 bar, Swingallery, Cincy SwingFest on Fountain Square, Smorgasbord of Swing, group events and privately. Ryan is a very technical dancer and really pushes for the feel / technical side when teaching his students. His main goal is always for everyone to have fun, smile and connect with each other on the floor. To pass on his 9 years of knowledge to new dancers and hopefully instill there interest to make swing a part of their lives.

Ryan has been lucky enough to teach with so many dancers regionally throughout the years and continues to teach with many of them still today!
